He possesses an ability called "Revival", which would bring him back to a time before a life-threatening incident has happened and allow him to prevent it. As his mother was killed for noticing a serial kidnapper in action, he was brought back to 18 years ago when he was 11 years old (1988) where the same kidnapper has killed three young girls in his hometown. Satoru eventually attempted and succeeded in preventing the original three victims from their death, but was in coma for 15 years due to being drowned in a frozen lake for obstructing him, but lost his memories of doing so in the process. ; :Airi is a high school student and Satoru's co-worker at Oasi Pizza. She gets involved with Satoru when she realized oddities as Satoru managed to save people from life-threatening incidents, and was one of the few who decided to trust Satoru when he was framed as his mother's murderer. Airi and Satoru meets again in a different timeline where Satoru managed to stop the serial kidnapper in his town and wakes up from his coma. ; :Kayo is Satoru's primary school classmate and one of the victims of the serial kidnapping case 18 years ago. She was saved due to Satoru's attempt on stopping the kidnapper through his "Revival" by acquainting Kayo and making sure that she ceased being a loner, which made her an easy target for the kidnapper. As Satoru wakes up from his coma, it is revealed that Kayo has married Hiromi and has a son. ; :Sachiko is Satoru's mother and former news announcer. She possesses a sharp eye and is quick to observe any irregularities. She knows about the cold cases of serial kidnapping in her town but decided to keep quiet and ignore it due to her child's growth and safety. However, after having eye contact with the criminal at his latest kidnapping attempt, she was silenced and killed by the kidnapper, which triggered Satoru's 18 years "Revival". ; :Kenya is Satoru's primary school classmate who has a strong sense of justice. He is an aspiring lawyer who has a keen eye, and noticed abnormalities due to Satoru acting much more mature than he was after "Revival". He offered a lot of help to Satoru in stopping the possible kidnapping attempts. 15 years later, he is a lawyer who is still in search of the real kidnapper. ; :Hiromi is Satoru's primary school classmate who is a feminine-looking boy, and one of the original victims of the serial kidnapping case. He was killed in order to lead the police into thinking that the suspect did not know that Hiromi was a boy. He also participated in Satoru's attempt in stopping the kidnappings. He is married to Kayo 15 years later. ; :Aya is a perfect student studying at Izumi Primary near to Satoru's primary school, and is one of the original victims of serial kidnapping. She befriends Satoru's friends, which prevented her from being kidnapped. ; :Jun is a food delivery worker who lived in Satoru's hometown, and often approaches lone students around his house. Nicknamed "Yuuki" due to his courageous nature, he is originally framed as the killer of the three kidnapped students in the town, and sentenced to murder. ; :Gaku is Satoru's homeroom teacher in primary five, and the real kidnapper behind the scenes.
